Fashion Mishaps
Learn From the Best
I would consider myself to be a fairly well-dressed individual. I tend to follow the distinctive fashion rules and don't usually leave the house unless I'm looking semi-acceptable. Although I think I'm pretty fashion practical, I'll never turn my head away from learning new fashion and clothing tricks. As it turns out, there are many common fashion mistakes out there, and I'm definitely guilty of a few of the ones that appear on this list. Let's be genuine. We all have outfits we look back on with a slight twinge of remorse.
I know no one is perfect, and I have occasionally held on to pieces a little too long or tried trends that didn't work out. The beauty of fashion flaws is that there's always an amazing and helpful tip! Hey, are you ready to step up your outfit game and discover if you've been making some of these fashion faux pas too? You'll notice they all come down to one thing: It is always better to stay true to your own sense of style. Whether it being a tendency of overindulgence or forgetting great basics, you'll find it easy to avoid these slip-ups in your day to day life. Read on to see some of the common fashion mistakes and then some advice on how to avoid/correct them.
Most modern consumers are more likely to take fashion risks these days and one thing I never understand is why people are still following the outdated 'rule' of matching shoes with your bag. With so many great accessory options on the market, people who do that are missing out on countless style combinations.
"Why should you limit yourself?"
Although limitation may be the best form of flattery, an all-too-common style mistake is to clone someone else's style. While taking inspiration from our peers and influencers is natural, it's most important to find your own style. For example, what your friends /influencer wears may not flatter you because of the different body types, it may look on point for that person so know your body type, and the most modern approach is to take key elements and incorporate them into your own wardrobe. A complete sense of being uncomfortable usually happens with the length of ones’ attire. You will see one keeps pulling the skirt or dress down at all and looking uncomfortable. If I don't make you feel confident, then you are not going to enjoy yourself and nothing is worse than seeing a girl out adjusting herself nonstop.
I have always noticed when people simply throw on a bunch of costly designer pieces thinking that's enough to make an outfit nice, rather than carefully selecting things that go well together, regardless of the price or brand name. It's one of those shortcuts that just doesn't work. Check out: https://youtu.be/ljf4l6Nuh8Q on how to dress stylishly.
Visible panty lines and a worn-out hook and eye on the back of their bra. It's the small details that count. Try the; seamless panties of late you can get them easily and also if a bra is worn out toss it. You may not care but some people look at those small details. There is a time that I found myself guilty of being so into a new trend I would feel the need to try it out, regardless if it suited my style or even looked good on me. Thankfully those days are behind me (I hope). I have since learned to exercise caution and a bit of creative thinking when it comes to trends. There is always a way into a trend, so don't make the mistake of following it to an extent
I never ever forget to accessorize! Jewelry is always the most important part of my outfit. With my clothing, I generally stick with everyday basics, so accessories jewelry especially is my way of making my outfit exciting and distinctive.
